Clarifying the 2018 Region I Cup Dates

REGION I, A recent clerical error had Region I release brackets for the three cups with discrepant dates for the cup rounds coming up this spring. The Region has clarified the dates on their website are the correct dates. We have re-printed the schedules here below for your convenience. Please be aware these are subject to change so keep an eye out here at amateurcupmedia.com as well as at what the Region releases going forward.

The correct dates for these three cups are listed below:

  • Region I – Fritz Marth US Amateur Cup Dates
    • Round I takes place on April 8, 2018
    • Quarterfinals take place on April 22, 2018
    • Semifinals take place on May 13, 2018
    • Final takes place on June 16, 2018
  • Region I – Werner Fricker Open Cup Dates
    • Quarterfinals take place on April 15, 2018
    • Semifinals take place on May 6, 2018
    • Final takes place on June 17, 2018
  • Region I – Gerhard Mengel Over-30 Cup Dates
    • Quarterfinals take place on April 29, 2018
    • Semifinals take place on May 20, 2018
    • Final takes place on June 17, 2018
  • Region I Championship Finals at the Ukrainian American Sports Center
    • June 16-17, 2018
