HORSHAM, PA – On Sunday, June 17 Christos FC took two of the Region I Championships. This Gerhard Mengel Over-30 trophy was the first one. They won the regional final over Warehouse Gunners from Massachusetts in a match that pushed both teams to do their bests. Regulation and OT periods ended in 1:1 draw and 6 rounds of penalty kicks finally decided the match
The winners of the Werner Fricker Cup, the Gerhard Mengel Cup and the National Over-40 Cup will head out to Sarasota, Florida on the weekend of 17 & 18 August to compete against teams from Region II and Region III.
