Region I set for Finals Weekend in East Penn [UPDATE – 06/14/2019]

HORSHAM, PA – Information was released on Monday that outlined the schedules and a few updates about USASA Region I’s Finals weekend taking place from Saturday, June 15 to Sunday, June 16. The Amateur Cup Final will take place in addition to the Gerhard Mengel Over-30, Werner Fricker Open, an Over-40 Cup, and an Under-23 tournament.

Region I Weekend Schedule

“We had some states start their qualifying process in September and we are now down to our four finals. It will take place over the weekend of 15 & 16 June at the Ukrainian American Sport Center in Horsham, Pennsylvania. All four finals will be at their turf field. In addition, we will have our Men’s U23 Tournament and at this junction, have 11 teams.”

    • National Over-40 Cup
      • 5:00 PM – West Chester United (EPA) v Fairfield GAC FC (CT)
    • Amateur Cup for the Fritz Marth Trophy
      • 7:00 PM -Steel FC (PAW) v Newtown Pride FC (CT)
  • Sunday, June 16
    • Gerhard Mengel Cup – Over-30 Championship
      • 11:00 AM – Maryland Bays (MD) v Pancyprian Freedom O30 (ENY)
    • Werner Fricker Cup – Amateur Open Championship
    • 1:00 PM – Yinz United (MD) v Lansdowne Yonkers FC (ENY)
